Terms of Service

The terms and conditions that govern your use of recoveryx.ca and the services we provide.

Last updated: June 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RecoveryX website (recoveryx.ca) and any services offered through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. About RecoveryX

RecoveryX is a mobile physiotherapy practice operated by Sami Samdani, PT, a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Services include in-person mobile physiotherapy assessments, the RecoveryX Support Pass, custom bracing services, and ForceDecks force plate testing.

3. Not Medical Advice

The content on recoveryx.ca — including blog articles, recovery guides, video, infographics, and all educational content — is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for individualized assessment, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider.

Always consult a qualified health professional regarding any medical condition or before beginning any new exercise, rehabilitation, or treatment program. RecoveryX is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from reliance on website content in place of individualized professional care.

4. Booking, Cancellation & Payment

Bookings made through the Jane App scheduling platform are subject to Jane's terms and our practice's cancellation policy. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules; late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee equal to the full session cost.

Fees are payable at the time of service. We provide receipts suitable for extended health insurance reimbursement.

5. Insurance & Direct Billing

Where direct billing is offered, RecoveryX submits claims to the insurer on your behalf as a courtesy. You remain personally responsible for any portion not covered or rejected by your insurer.

6. Mobile Service Area

RecoveryX provides in-home and on-site physiotherapy across Durham Region, York Region, and selected areas of the Greater Toronto Area. Travel beyond standard service areas may incur additional fees, communicated and agreed upon prior to your appointment.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on recoveryx.ca — including text, images, graphics, logos, schema, and software — is the property of RecoveryX or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may share links to our content, but you may not reproduce, republish, or commercially redistribute content without prior written permission.

8. User Communication

When you contact RecoveryX through the website, form submissions, email, or the Recovery Support Pass messaging feature, you agree to communicate in good faith. We do not provide emergency or urgent care through messaging. For medical emergencies, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Ontario law, RecoveryX and its representatives are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of recoveryx.ca, including (but not limited to) reliance on educational content, technical site errors, or third-party services linked from the site.

This limitation does not apply to liability arising from the in-person clinical practice of a Registered Physiotherapist, which is governed by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards and Ontario healthcare law.

10. Third-Party Links

Our site links to external services including Jane App (booking), insurer pages, and educational resources. RecoveryX is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites and does not endorse their services unless explicitly stated.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with a "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
